Wwoofing Around Australia
A blog for the friends and family of Adriana and Jared (and whoever else is interested!) so they can keep in touch and stay involved during our WWOOF travels (Willing Workers On Organic Farms).

The basic idea of Wwoofing is that you work in return for food and accommodation. For more information, visit the WWOOF Australia Website.

mothernaturenetwork: How to build a raised garden bedHere’s an easy tutorial on how to construct your own raised garden bed in five easy steps.

It’s been two weeks since we left! Time flies.

During those two weeks Jared and I have been staying at Murrnong Permaculture Property in Violet Town with David Arnold (a Permaculture Design Certified Teacher) and his family.

The property has about a gazillion fruit trees, olive trees and nut trees; three goats; 11 chickens and one rooster; three dams and two vegetable gardens.

This blog will be updated approximately every two weeks (Internet time is scarce - there isn’t even a TV!).

I hope everyone is well, and that you enjoy the photos coming up.

Lots of love, Jared and Adriana.

Jared and a friendly chicken!

Jared was kind enough to take a photo of me while I was pulling an extremely attractive face.

A little frog that we found whilst shifting wood.

Happy little chickens!
